1. Infection Control is term used to describe a number of measures designed to detect, prevent and contain the spread of infectious disease.
Notes: Some measures include:
- Hand washing or Hand Hygiene
- Respiratory Etiquette
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Prophylaxis
- Isolation; and
- Quarantine.
