Lt. Col. Asmuni
Lt Col Asmuni Yusof (Retired) has established himself to be a household and also international renowned name in information security since 1995.
Currently the Head of Security Assurance Department, CyberSecurity Malaysia, Lt. Col. Asmuni served the Malaysian Armed Forces for 30 years prior to joining Cybersecurity Malaysia and has been extensively involved in communication and information security, including cryptography management.
Lt. Col. Asmuni has also been actively playing major roles in his practice, having taken up membership in Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) – UK Chapter, The Malaysian Society for Cryptology Research as Vice President, Information Security Professional Association as committee Member and recently been appointed as one of Board of Directors for Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
In 2010, he was an honouree at the fourth annual Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) Program, Senior Information Security Professional Category, in recognition for his extensive contribution to the industry.
