The types of crisis can be divided into 8 different categories. The first two threat categories [1] "Natural " and [2] "Technology" are usually referred to as "Threats" as this is address during the risk assessment when implementing the business continuity management program. It is discussed in Part 1: List of Threats .

A confrontation arises when employees fight amongst themselves, against management, or when individuals do not agree with each other and engage in non-productive acts. Some examples of Confrontation crisis include:

  • Using ultimatums and force to accept their demands
