Lim Jit Ting

Mr. Lim Jit Ting is a Senior Principal Engineer with DNV Business Assurance, which is a world leading certification body that helps customers manage risks and create opportunities within

business excellence, Corporate Responsibility, energy efficiency and management, product responsibility and health and safety.

His basic training is in Mechanical & Marine Engineering and holds a Masters degree in Welding Technology. He has had more than 32 years of working experience, the first five of which was in a shipyard involving in ship repair and refurbishment, overhaul of high speed marine engines, fabrication & construction of offshore oil & gas extraction and production facilities. After joining DNV, he has been involved in the certification of new offshore oil and gas field development projects from construction right up to offshore installation and commissioning, certification of management systems and products and training.

Lim is presently managing the training services and has been instrumental in the development of DNV BA’s global lead auditor training course for business continuity management certification. His long and varied industrial experiences both in the operational and management capacity give him great insight into the issues relating to managing risk and business continuity management.
