Vishwanath K Nair

Vishwanath Nair is the IT Continuity Manager for Emirates Group IT which services all the group companies of Emirates Group including Emirates Airlines. In this role he is responsible for implementation, management and governance of IT Continuity Management process across the organization. He has successfully implemented an IT Continuity Management process for managing risk of service continuity for all the critical application and infrastructure services for Emirates Group. He has also worked with various business groups within Emirates Group to align the IT Continuity Management practices with their business continuity management requirements.

Prior to his current role, Vishwanath has worked in various roles including IT Auditor, Information Security/ Risk Consultant and IT Service Management Consultant for various leading organizations like ArcelorMittal, Wipro Technologies and Infosys Technologies. His overall experience of 14 years in the area of information risk consulting and management has been across multiple geographical areas like US, India, Middle East and Ukraine. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Pune University and Diploma in Security and Investigation from Edith Cowan University, Australia. He currently holds industry leading certifications like CISM & CRISC.
