Notes (1): occurs in response to a significant event such as the implementation of operational resilience or shift in the external or internal environment.

Notes (2): is initiated by new leadership within the organization or disruption in business due to new technology.

Notes (3): is a complicated process, requiring employees to adopt new ways of thinking and behaving.

Notes (4): if done correctly, it can be a powerful tool for organizational success.
