2. An alternative process of working following a loss of IS systems. As working practices rely more and more on computerised activities, the ability of an organisation to fall back to manual alternatives lessens. However, temporary measures and methods of working can help mitigate the impact of a Business Continuity incident and give staff a feeling of doing something.
