2. A senior manager, normally reporting to the IS director, who has overall responsibility for ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements. The Service Manager is also responsible for negotiating requirements with senior business representatives. The Service Manager is responsible for the Service Management Team and is usually a member of the high level CAB. The Service Manager should have a major say in the allocation of resources between services.
