1. Infectious Disease 传染病是指一种可以直接或间接地从一个生物传播到另一个生物的疾病，如脑膜炎、疟疾和流行性感冒（流感）。

注：新兴传染病：在21世纪提出新挑战并具有以下特征之一的疾病：

  • 以前未知或感染人数不足以引起重视；
  • 旧病原但现在影响的人数更多；
  • 在新的或出乎意料的地区出现；
  • 曾经可控现在却具有抗药性。
