1. Infectious Period Tempoh Berjangkit ialah tempoh masa sesuatu kes boleh menyebarkan jangkitan kepada orang lain yang berada dalam jarak 3 kaki darinya; untuk strain novel influenza, ia dianggap bermula 1 hari sebelum bermulanya simptom dan berakhir 7 hari selepas demam sembuh (14 hari untuk kanak-kanak di bawah 12 tahun).
