Incremental Backup
1. Incremental Backup is data backup executed on data that have been changed after the last full data backup. These backup copies are only useable together with the earlier full data backup.
Note: Incremental backup are used to reduce the copy time when the data updates are small. It is not suitable where significant portions of the data are changed everyday, as incremental backup may take longer time than a full copy. See Data Recovery Strategy for the rest of the categories.
