1. Worst Case Scenario is the worst possible condition or outcome out of the several possibilities in planning for a disaster.

Imagining a worst case scenario helps organization formulate business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and in setting aside enough resources to reduce the impact if the event or situation actually occurs.
