Pg Maslina Pg Haji Mahmud is the Acting Executive Director of Currency Management cum the Head of Risk Management of the Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD). She joined AMBD in 2014 and prior to that, she has a total of over 16 years working experience in Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB), the first financial institution that conducted all its activities in accordance to the Shariah principles.

Her first involvement in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) was in 2009 when she was appointed as the BCM Project Manager for Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB). It was an honor that TAIB received the “Resilience Award” in 2013 from the BCM Institute for its commitment to organization resiliency with international adopted standards.

She was also back then responsible in handling the BCM projects for both Perbadanan TAIB’s subsidiaries namely Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Today, as the Head of Risk Management Unit in the AMBD, she is also responsible in the implementation of a BCM project and planning.

She was ever invited to speak at the World Continuity Congress in 2011 in Malaysia to speak about the issues and challenges in implementing BCM in a financial institution.

Pg Maslina holds a Master in Business Administration (Islamic Banking and Finance) in the National University of Malaysia. She was awarded the Business Continuity Certified Planner (BCCP) in 2008 by the BCM Institute.
