Aslam Perwaiz
Aslam Perwaiz is the Head of Disaster Risk Management Systems (DRMS) Department at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC). He is leading the ADPC’s privates sector engagement initiative “iPrepare Business” and post-disaster needs assessment initiative “Ready4Recovery”. Aslam is involved in the implementation of large- and medium-scale disaster risk reduction programs focusing on community-based disaster risk reduction and integration of disaster risk reduction into socio-economic planning. He holds a Master’s degree in Statistic.
Past Employment
Prior to joining the ADPC, he worked with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG).

- Master in Science in Statistics & Economy from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh India (1991 - 1993)
- Bachelor in Science (B.Sc) in Statistics from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh India (1988 - 1991).
