David Chin  is currently a principal lecturer, School of Sport, Health and Leisure at Republic Polytechnic where he is involved in teaching and researching sport education, curriculum design and education technology.

He spent close to 15 years in media and public relations and his last appointment held before joining RP was as group director of Hill & Knowlton Singapore’s Technology Practice. In that capacity, David specialised in media and crisis communications where he helped train spokespersons at CA, 3Com, ST Engineering, and the Ministry of Education. He also focused on message and positioning for organisations including Tata Communications, Brocade, LG Electronics, 3Com, CA, VMware, Sony Ericsson, Sony Electronics, Lexmark, Panduit and the Global Social Innovators Forum. David sits on the BCMI advisory board.
