Requirements for DRCE

The Disaster Recovery Certified Expert (DRCE) certification is designed for IT Disaster Recovery managers, planners, and project managers. Candidates will be imparted with essential skills in higher level activities and tasks; this includes DR program management; media handling; raising business awareness; crisis coordination and escalation management; co­ordination with external agencies. Many of these tasks demand a higher level of maturity and experience; that are likely to be possessed by professionals supporting, implementing and managing organization-wide programs. A professional with Expert status will be expected to have the skills to maintain awareness of IT DRP and BCM issues, and keep current with IT DRP and BCM practices as they evolve in the future.

 

Criteria

The individuals should have met and continue to meet the following requirements regarding:

  • Successful completion of the DRP-400 IT DR Manager (duration 2.5 days including half-day examination) or DRP-5000 IT DR Expert Implementer(duration 5 days including half-day examination)
  • Successful completion of DRCS examination with a required passing score of 75% out of 150 Multiple-choice Questions (MCQ)
  • At least 3 years experience in business continuity management (BCM), crisis management (CM) and/or disaster recovery planning (DRP)

Fee Payment

Award of Electronic Certificate

Only an electronic certificate or e-certificate (softcopy) will be issued for all successful application. However, a hardcopy certificate is also available upon request from the online store: SGD 50
