Domain Name System
1. The Domain Name System (DNS) facilitates communication across the internet by converting human-friendly domain names into machine-friendly internet protocol (IP) addresses and vice versa.

2. The Domain Name System (DNS) translates Internet domain and host names to IP addresses and vice versa. On the Internet, DNS automatically converts between the names we type in our Web browser address bar to the IP addresses of Web servers hosting those sites.

3. The Domain Name System (aka DNS) is used to resolve human-readable hostnames like www.Dyn.com into machine-readable IP addresses like 204.13.248.115. DNS also provides other information about domain names, such as mail services.
