Data Backups

1. Data Backups is a physical offsite vaulting process whereby, the physical backup media are transported periodically from the primary site to the offsite secured location. 2. The backup of system, application, program and/or production files to media that can be stored both on and/or offsite. Data backups can be used to restore corrupted or lost data or to recover entire systems and databases in the event of a disaster. Data backups should be considered confidential and should be kept secure from physical damage and theft.
