Continuing Education Activities (CE Activities) are the pre-approved list of activities that qualify for continuing education hours. These include technical and managerial training and related BC and DR activities.

The training activities must be directly be applicable to manage, develop, implement and maintain BCM and/or IT DRP skills. The skills found in the BCM Body of Knowledge to ensure a proper balance of professional development is attained.

CE hours related to management skills must be relevant to management of BCM and/or IT disaster DRP resources. CE hours are not accepted for on-the-job activities unless they fall into a specific qualifying professional education activity such as in-house instruction and exercising of the BC or DR plans.

Training in basic office productivity software does not qualify as continuing education but in specialized BC or DR tools will be valid. All the specific activities have annual CE hour limits.
