1. Scope describes what kind of projects, activities, coverage and deliverable are required to meet your BC project goals.

2. Generally, the extent to which a method or procedure applies. The scope of Configuration Management may not, for example, extend to Customer information (other than on an as informed basis) and the scope of a Change Management procedure may not apply to urgent changes. Also a key concept in outsourcing as it defines which activities are covered by the base contract and which are separately chargeable.
