1. The Incident Management Team provides a common coordination and communication focal point for all business response and subsequent recovery activities at other organization locations or the local level.

Notes (1):The team is typically comprised of the heads of organizational support areas.

Notes (2): The Incident Management Team enforces the corporate policy and implements operational recovery as it affects them and as directed by the Crisis Communication team. Note: Depending on the nature of the incident, other organization locations may be directly or indirectly affected.

Note (3): In larger organization whereby it has a large geographical spread, it is sometimes referred to as an Local Crisis Management Team.
