1. BCM Planning Process or Methodology is the planning process for the implementation of any BC plan. The phases are as follows:

Notes: This methodology is applicable to the crisis management, crisis communication and IT disaster recovery planning process. The adoption of a common methodology will allow the different plans to be aligned so as to integrate the common elements. For example, the threats and crisis scenarios can be aggregated to be part of the enterprise risk management's risk assessment process.
