Singapore Carolynn Lock is the Manager of Hitachi Data Systems Enterprise Datacentre whose core competency is the provision of turnkey Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solution services.

She has in-depth experiences in the areas of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity; having been directly involved in real live disaster recovery, ‘near-real-live’ simulated exercises, and managing these recovery processes. Carolynn has delivered recovery services to prestigious and high-profile organizations. She also receives numerous requests by customers for her involvement in their organization’s DRP and BCP programme.

Carolynn Lock is an Associate Instructor with the BCM Institute.

Past Employment

Besides managing the Enterprise Datacentre, Carolynn had, through the past fourteen years, provided consultant services to many organizations in the areas of Business Impact Analysis/Review, Total Operations Review, Disaster Recovery Plan Development, DRP/BCP training, testing and exercises, Business Continuity Strategy, Backup/Restore Methodology, Design/Build Datacentre and Datacentre Relocations. She also has the experience and expertise to help clients in the implementation of Remote Mirroring Solutions and On-Demand Storage requirements incorporating the state of the art Hitachi Storage Technology. She is also an active member with IDA BC/DR WG setting the Singapore first BC/DR Standards SS507.
