Paul Cheng, currently Assistant General Manager, Terminal Operation & Government Facilitation of the Airport Authority Hong Kong has been with the aviation industry for over 20 years. His duty in the current role is to plan, organize and direct all functions and responsibilities associated with the safe and efficient terminal operation at Hong Kong International Airport.

Before taking up the current post as recent as in October 2013, he served in different posts in Terminal Operations, Airfield, Safety, International Marketing, Planning & Development and most recently with the Business Continuity Planning.

Paul started his aviation career with an international airline and moved on to hold various key responsibilities in the commercial airline sector for many years with several airline operators, both in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Vietnam. During his wide ranging airline career, he had been involved in various business aspects ranging from airport operation, service delivery and sales and marketing. Apart from aviation, Paul also gained experience in other areas including overseas hotel/service apartment project development, intercity rail service, travel and freight forwarding business.

Paul Cheng is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM), Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CMILT) and Institute of Transport of Administration (MInstTA).
